Our custom-made blinds and shades carry a non-transferable limited lifetime warranty. It applies to the original purchaser for as long as the product remains in the original window.
What’s covered
Custom-made blinds and shades are warranted against manufacturing defects: flaws in the product design, materials or workmanship that may cause the product to malfunction.
Motors: Coulisse warrants its motors to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for five (5) years from the date stamped on the motor.
What’s not covered
The warranty does not cover damage or deterioration due to:
Normal wear and tear, including abuse, accident, alterations, damage from pets or insects, exposure to salt air, improper cleaning, improper handling, improper installation, improper operation, misapplication, misuse and high wind conditions.
The passage of time: any product that loses color intensity, experiences a loss of pleating, or yellows or cracks.
Associated costs: product removal, remeasure and reinstallation, transportation to and from the retailer, shipping, and incidental damage.
If several blinds or shades are in the same room, only the defective blind or shade will be replaced.
